Brandy Bowdry is the CEO of Bowdry’s Independent Paralegal Services, LLC. She is also a leading paralegal with knowledge in various areas of law including but not limited to contract, litigation, and legal research. Brandy’s goal is to assist law firms and corporations with reducing legal cost by offering her services on an as needed bases. She began her career in the legal industry in 2007 as an intern at Paule, Camazine, & Bloomenthal P.C. in family law, immigration, and personal injury. It was shortly after her internship that Bowdry’s Independent Paralegal Services, LLC (BIPS) was formed.
Brandy’s prior experience in the legal field and extensive educational training has given her an in-depth perspective of the law. Her organization has worked with several attorneys and corporations in the Saint Louis area to assist them better with serving their client’s needs. Brandy’s professional designation and achievements exhibits her dedication to provide the best services to stay ahead of her competitors. She stays abreast of changing laws by attending legal courses that is detrimental to her areas of services. She also maintain knowledge through the numerous organizations for which she is a member of including the National Association of Professional Women, St Louis Paralegal Association, National Association of Legal Assistant (NALA), The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the National Notary Association to name a few.
Recently, BIPS has grown to include social security, veterans disability, and mediation services to their portfolio. Brandy believes in serving the community and is passionate about helping others get the money that they deserve and need or resolving issues to reduce litigation cost. She also volunteers throughout the year to give back to the St. Louis community with organizations that seek to improve the economic stability of families.
Brandy graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelors of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology /Sociology. She went on to obtain her Masters of Arts degree in Legal Analysis and a Paralegal Certificate from Webster University. She recently received certification in Mediation from Saint Louis University School of Law and has receivedseveral certifications from organizations such as NALA.
